When it comes to waste collection and disposal, it is important to differentiate between transporting waste that comes from one's own business and transporting waste on behalf of third parties. These companies operate on behalf of and delegated to other industrial or entrepreneurial businesses.
The distinction is fundamental because companies that transport and manage waste on behalf of third parties must be logged in the relevant register in a specific category, so that they are separated from those who carry out transport and disposal on their own account.

You can choose from the list below depending on the characteristics and nature of your business:
Category 1C: collection and transport of urban waste;
Category 2bis: including those who produce non-hazardous waste initially and who carry out collection and transport operations on their own account in quantities not exceeding thirty kilograms or thirty litres per day, as established by article 212, paragraph 8, of the legislative decree 3 April 2006, n. 152;
Category 4D: including those who collect and transport non-hazardous special waste;
Category 5F: including those involved in collecting and transporting special hazardous waste;
Category 8F: concerns those who are intermediaries and trade in waste without holding the waste itself (transport on behalf of third parties).
